SET THE CONTROLS FOR THE HEART OF THE SUN
Mit der Entdeckung des Sonnensystems setzt LINE IN Yourself 2013 die Zielkoordinaten Richtung Sonnenmitte – und seine lebenswichtige Kulturarbeit unermüdlich fort.
DIE VERANSTALTUNGSREIHE LINE IN YOURSELF GEHT 2013 IN DIE VIRTE RUNDE
Da das Hauptmerkmal dieser Veranstaltung die Vielfältigkeit der künstlerischen Ausdrucksformen, Stilmittel, Ideen und Ideologien ist, lässt sie sich nicht auf eine dominante Stilrichtung oder Kunstform beschränken. Sie lebt vielmehr von der Diversität der Kunstschaffenden, als auch von der, fallweise, gegenläufig eingesetzten künstlerischen Praxis. Das langfristige Ziel der Veranstaltungsreihe ist nicht nur die Fortsetzung einer Tradition von musikalischen Events, sondern die schrittweise Integration weiterer Kunstformen.

Live: Storms
Storms is an instrumental rock / post-rock band from Zagreb, Croatia, which was formed on the ashes of Don’t Mess With Texas. Their debut full length “We Are Storms” (Moonlee Records, 2011) is a nice little collection of ten explosive all-instrumental compositions, ranging from dreamy melodies and emotional breaks to guitar madness and pumping bass riffs, backed up by a noisy atmosphere and driving, open drum rhythms. Pretty interesting and straightforward music, if we may add – no endless intros or boring soundscapes that go nowhere and make you say “are they gonna start playing now?” – just direct, in-your-head tracks that rarely go past the four minute mark. Post-rock at it’s best. You dig the last Mogwai record, just to make a realistic comparison? Then you will LOVE Storms!
Live: Cripple and Casino
Cripple and Casino is noise-rock band from Zagreb, which challenge the underground music scene with their noisy post punk aesthetics – half-spoken, half-shouted and half-sung vocals, strong blend of caustic, angular riffi ng around roving basslines and and plenty of spacious rhythm breaks. All in all, it doesn’t sound much unlike their friends Analena. Cripple and Casino released their debut album on US label Radio is Down, which gotten numerous positive reviews in many corners of the world. Cripple and Casino will release their new LP “With High Regards” will be released in January 2013 (Moonlee Records, Radio is Down Records). They hope it will ref lect a now tighter and smarter band. They know it will defi nitely ref lect what they have been from the beginning – four newbies with a wish to rock.
